Are your students learning the value of each coin? Use this independent practice worksheet to support your money lesson. Students will cut out each coin and glue them in order, from least to greatest. 

This math worksheet includes five coins:

  • half-dollar
  • quarter
  • dime
  • nickel
  • penny

An answer key is included with your download to make grading fast and easy! 

Tips for Differentiation + Scaffolding 

In addition to independent student work time, use this worksheet as an activity for:

For fast finishers, encourage students to think of other ways to make a nickel, dime, quarter, and half-dollar.  For example, 5 nickels will equal 1 quarter.

Support students who need additional help by providing an anchor chart for students to reference while completing the activity.
