Make Recommending Great Reads a Regular Event in Your Classroom!
Sometimes students struggle when choosing a book to read. Sometimes they can’t decide, and sometimes they don’t want to!
Teach Starter has created this simple book recommendation template to help your students guide each other towards great books that will keep them engaged and motivated.
You might like to create a ‘Great Reads’ display in your classroom so students can access their classmates’ book recommendations.
Alternatively, you might like to start a book recommendation section in your school’s library. Leave the templates in the library for students to fill out and place near the book they are recommending.
On the template, students fill in the following information:
- Title
- Author
- Genre
- I recommend this book because…
- Recommended by
