🌙 Moon Phases Vocabulary Cards

Are your students working on remembering the different science vocabulary terms associated with moon phases? Teach Starter has created a set of vocabulary cards that you can use with your elementary students during your Earth and Space unit. Each card includes the vocabulary term, definition and corresponding picture.

These vocabulary cards can be displayed on a bulletin board, in a science center or used with a small group of students when reviewing science vocabulary. Some of the terms your students will learn include:

  • new Moon
  • waxing Gibbous
  • lunar Eclipse
  • and more!

Through this activity, students will demonstrate an understanding of different vocabulary terms associated with moon phases.
